Valerie the Disruptor

Project ALS co-founder Valerie Estess sat down with Charles River to talk about how Project ALS is disrupting the norm in order to bring the first treatments and a cure to people with ALS as quickly as possible.

Valerie talks about the development of jacifusen, now in PII/PIII international trial thanks to an incredible Project ALS-led team—which included partners like Charles River—to treat a genetic form of ALS. The unique, aggressive path Project ALS forged to push jacifusen through pre-clinical and clinical development is just one example of how we are changing the game when it comes to drug discovery and development. Watch the video below to hear more from Valerie on how jacifusen was developed and why a rational, dogged approach is imperative to finding potential therapies for ALS.
